Crawford's coming out party

Scorpions manager Arnie Beyeler showed confidence in Brandon Crawford by batting him 3rd in the lineup tonight, and Crawford repaid that confidence in kind, going 3/4 with a triple and scoring the game's winning run.  Crawford raised his average to .333 so far on the young campaign.

Once again the Giants contingent came up big, as Crawford's triple led off the bottom of the 8th and Joe Panik, despite going 0/4, brought Brandon home with some nice situational hitting.  Panik also had a nice 8-pitch at bat earlier in the game, but it unfortunately ended in a ground out.

Also coming up big was Stephen Harrold, the Giants' young right hander, pitching two scoreless innings in the 8th and the 9th to lock up the win for the Scorps.
