Friday's Notes

Still no Pill in the lineup for the Tomateros, haven't heard a word since he had "muscle soreness" a couple days ago.  Starting to worry a bit.

The Dominican League kicked off tonight, we found Francisco Peguero and Brandon Belt in the box scores.  Peguero hit leadoff and played center field for the Gigantes del Cibao.  Belt played left field and hit 3rd for the Leones del Escogido.

Peguero: 2/4 1R 1RBI 1BB
Belt: 1/4 1SO

Brown, Crawford and Panik were all in the lineup for the Scorps, and Maday was the starting pitcher.  They got blasted by Peoria, 14-5.  Maday had a rough outing, allowing 4 runs on 3 hits while walking 3 in just 3 innings.  Brown, to nobody's surprise, hit leadoff, and Craw was back in the 3-spot.  Panik was down in the order again.

Brown: 1/3 2R 1HBP 1BB
Craw: 1/4 1 2B 1RBI 1BB 1SO
Panik: 1/4 2SO

Brown is now hitting .250 on the season, Craw an even .300 and Panik .136.
